Larpy is a fictional finance simulator for live-action role-play, film, theatre, and creative work. It does not provide banking services, financial advice, or access to any financial account. Every balance and transaction shown in the app is invented by the person using it.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Larpy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Larpy is a fiction and entertainment app that simulates the interface of a finance app using entirely invented data. It is designed for use in:
- Live-action role-play (LARP) and tabletop scenarios
- Films, television, and theater productions
- Creative writing, worldbuilding, and character development
Within the App you can invent fictional accounts, balances, and transactions. The App also displays publicly available stock and cryptocurrency market prices so that a story set in the present day moves with the present-day market. No other information in the App is real.
Larpy is NOT:
- A bank or financial institution
- A licensed financial advisor or investment service
- A real trading platform for stocks or cryptocurrencies
- A real payment or money transfer service
- Connected to any real bank account or real financial data — it has no ability to be
3. Fictional Content & No Financial Advice
All balances, accounts, transactions, and financial figures displayed in the App are simulated and fictional, except for publicly available market data (such as stock and cryptocurrency prices), which is displayed as a market backdrop only. Fictional figures in the App have no monetary value and cannot be bought, sold, transferred, redeemed, or withdrawn.
Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making any real financial decisions. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on anything displayed in the App.
4. Acceptable Use — No Deception or Fraud
Larpy is for fiction, performance, and entertainment. Every person who sees Larpy's contents must know they are fictional. By using Larpy, you agree to:
- Never use the App to deceive anyone into believing its fictional balances, accounts, or transactions are real — including misrepresenting your financial status to lenders, landlords, business partners, romantic interests, or anyone else
- Never present any screenshot, screen recording, or account detail taken from the App as genuine — the account numbers, routing numbers, IBANs, and wallet addresses the App generates are randomly invented, belong to no institution, and must never be given to anyone as a way to receive money
- Not use the App to commit, facilitate, or conceal fraud, scams, or any other unlawful act
- Use the App for lawful purposes only
- Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App's functionality
You are solely responsible for how you use the App. Misuse of the App to deceive or defraud others may violate criminal and civil law in your jurisdiction.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and functionality of Larpy are the exclusive property of Larpy and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
6. Market Data
Stock and cryptocurrency prices displayed in the App are sourced from public third-party providers (CoinGecko, Finnhub, and Yahoo Finance) and are shown as a market backdrop for fictional portfolios. This data is provided "as is" and may be delayed. We make no guarantees about its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and it must not be relied upon for real trading or investment decisions.
7. In-App Purchases
Larpy may offer optional in-app purchases ("Larpy Pro") that unlock additional features. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Larpy and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to any consequences of treating fictional balances or transactions as real, or of another person's misuse of the App.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or to us.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
